Event Details
To mark the 24th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, join communities across Birmingham in the beautiful St Philip’s Cathedral to come together and remember the victims of the worst atrocity on European soil since the Second World War.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Bridging the Divide: Confronting Hate’, which seeks to inspire people to challenge those who seek to divide communities, celebrate those who build bridges across divisions and encourage us all to bridges of our own.
The programme will feature testimony from Bosnian survivors, along with children’s reflections on confronting hate. We hope you can join us for a powerful evening of remembrance, inspiration and unity. All are welcome and admission is free – please register, as places are limited.
