THREE-CENTURY CHILDREN’S ODE TO THE HOMELAND

literary works of students for the year 2019
STUTTGART – Organized by the Association of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Schools (Verband bosnisch-herzegowinischer Schulen eV), in Stuttgart, on Sunday, 07. 07. 2019. In 2018, traditional meetings of supplementary schools of BiH in the Federal Republic of Germany were held, which are held on the occasion of the end of the school year.
This year’s meetings were held under the motto and title, You are the only one – Bosnia and Herzegovina!, and their message is: The moral obligation of all of us in the diaspora is to preserve our mother tongue and identity and ties with our homeland.
The event in Stuttgart began with the singing of the national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, remembering and paying tribute to those who died in the genocide in Srebrenica and all the innocent people killed in other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the aggression against our homeland. This was followed by a short video presentation of the seven-year work of the Association and Bosnian schools in the Federal Republic of Germany, followed by a three-hour program performed by children, students of Bosnian schools from Hamburg, Rottenburg,
Sindelfingen, Oberlenningen, Ulm, Augsburg and Stuttgart, the youngest members of the KUD “Mladi biseri” from Stuttgart, prominent writers from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the diaspora, Mina Imširović from Augsburg, Aida Đulić from Rottenburg, Husein Huska Ismailović from Munich and Mejrema Velić from Vienna. It was a real three-hour children’s ode to the homeland in Stuttgart, and a special impression was left on everyone present by the guest from Mannheim, the increasingly popular young actress Mila Halavać. With her performance of the poem “Što te nema” (What’s Missing You) and the monologue “On meni nema Bosna” (He Has No Bosnia for Me) by Josip Pejaković, she caused sadness and tears in many, and was rewarded with thunderous applause from all present.
In addition to representatives of Bosnian supplementary schools, some of whom traveled more than 700 kilometers to come to Stuttgart, such as students and teachers from Hamburg, the event in Stuttgart was also attended by: Consul General of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Stuttgart Began Muhić, Consul Mirza Husić, President of the Mešihat IZ BiH in Germany Pašo ef. Fetić, Deputy Minister for Diaspora of Kosovo Ćerim Bajrami, member of the General Assembly of the SSD BiH from Germany Nedžad Solunović, Dr. Pinsel (Michael Sieger), a prominent painter and teacher at the Academy of Painting in Stuttgart, Dr. Azra Hudelmeier, academic painter Samir Dervišević, President of the Cultural and Artistic Association “Mladi biseri” Sead Selmanović and many others.
DIPLOMAS AND AWARDS
A special part of the program at the event in Stuttgart was the awarding of certificates to the participants of supplementary schools in BiH in the Bosnian language in Baden-Württemberg and the announcement of the best artistic and literary works of students in 2019.
More than 270 works from all over the world came to the competition of the Association for the best artistic works of students.
FIRST place and the best artworks were won by: ADELE TRNJANIN from Senerborg (Denmark), ESME SALKIĆ from Mannheim (Germany) and ADNANA ĐULIĆ from Rottenburg (Germany). SECOND place was won by: ISHAK AGIĆ, (Germany), EDIN
NEDŽIBOVIĆ from Sindelfingen and ZINEDIN ŠAĆIROVIĆ from Novi Pazar (Serbia), and third: JASMINA MUJČINOVIĆ, EMINA AND LAMIJA BIBER (Germany) and MELISA JUSIĆ, Jezerski (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Special awards for idea and artistic impression went to the works of ENISA FESTIĆ from Denmark, ARIAN HIDIĆ from Munich and the joint work of the students of the Bosnian school from Rottenburg, and commendations went to the works of the students of the Bosnian schools from Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Augsburg and Ulm.
FIRST place in the literary works of students was won by EDINA KAHRIMANOVIĆ from Rottenburg, for the poem “MOJA DOMOVINA”, second place by MAHIR ČUSTOVIĆ from Augsburg and HANAH SERDAREVIĆ from Graz (Austria), and third place by FATIH ADEMOVIĆ, first grade of the Nur Elementary School, Novi Pazar, for the composition: The Story of My Homeland. A special award in the literary works was won by ALEKSANDRA MRAKIĆ, a first grade student of the Secondary Vocational and Technical School in Gradiška (BiH) for the poem “ODE NAM MLADOST”.
Acknowledgments and gifts to the best authors of artistic and literary works of the students were presented by representatives of the GK BiH in Stuttgart, representatives of the Association and guests.
