Announced mass protests in Bosnia and Herzegovina. citizens: “It will be five times more visible than now”

Satko Mujagić, one of the organizers of mass protests in Bosnia and Herzegovina. of citizens which in the past period took place in at least 35 cities of the world – he announced new outings on the streets. However, this time it will not be in the form of a protest like before.

Gatherings of BiH citizens in European and world cities will continue in March, announced Satko Mujagić, one of the organizers.

“Specifically, we will continue on March 6. We will celebrate the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also Thanksgiving Day. Then we will also thank those countries and people who accepted us and helped us when we arrived” , says Mujagić, explaining how Bosnia and Herzegovina will citizens who, for example, live in Great Britain or the Netherlands, celebrate the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina together with their British and Dutch neighbors.

“We will show the spirit of unity that is denied”

He explains how on March 6th, BiH citizens will take to the streets in at least ten different countries.

“This time we will not go to protests with microphones and political messages. We will show the diversity of BiH. We will present ourselves as ambassadors of the state on that 6th of March and together with our neighbors celebrate both Independence Day and Thanksgiving Day. And that is a way for the world to recognize our Bosnian spirit – it is the spirit of togetherness that is constantly being denied,” said Mujagić.

He emphasizes that one of the key efforts of the protests is to show the world that what is happening in BiH is not interethnic disagreements, but an artificially created crisis.

“What we did on January 10 will be seen five times more in March”

He also referred to a particular problem they had during and after organizing the last protests.

“There is constant talk about how these are actually ‘Bosniak protests’. I am first and foremost a Bosnian and Herzegovinian – a citizen of my country. It is important for me to show the world the unity that I see not only in BiH – but also outside. It is crucial that the diaspora come out en masse before it is too late – when we show that we will not give up our land, then it will be much more difficult for those who are against BiH, but also for those who would eventually help, it will be much more difficult to agree to divisions” , explains Mujagić.

He states that the spirit of community in the world will be shown through art and folklore.

“What we did on January 10th will be seen five times more on March 6th,” says Mujagić.

He emphasized that the organizers of the protest will have meetings with several members of the European Parliament this week, that he is satisfied with the response to the protests so far, but also that the organizers are quite clear that they must continue with the same actions.
