Today at 12:00 (Bosnian time) the DMU Museum temporarily closed its doors in solidarity with our friends and colleagues at the Srebrenica Memorial Center who have had to close their doors for safety and security reasons. This protective measure is a response to the growing political tensions in the region caused by the leadership and other state actors of Republika Srpska. My incredible friends/colleagues are scientists-activists who stand for peace, justice, and strong institutions, and today we wholeheartedly declare our solidarity and support for everyone at the Memorial Center.
