It was a true pleasure to organize a reception at the Honorary Consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina for veterans and pioneers of our Bosnian community in the West Midlands, and to introduce them to the Consulate premises and the renovated Bosnian House.
“Many of these individuals, together with their families, have made an immeasurable contribution to the development and strengthening of the Bosnian community since the very beginning of their arrival in the United Kingdom. Their long-standing engagement, dedication and perseverance have left a lasting mark and laid the foundations on which we continue to build today. We can rightly be proud of all that we have achieved together over the past decades,” said Dr. Anes Cerić, Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Midlands.
This reception was a small but sincere gesture of gratitude and respect, as well as a reminder that their contribution has not been forgotten and that they will always have a special place in our community. The meeting took place in an extremely warm, dignified and friendly atmosphere, filled with memories, conversations and a shared sense of pride in the journey we have traveled together.
