Dear Sir/Madam,
We inform you that the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has created a portal for interactive (online) supplementary education of children in the diaspora.
The content of the portal is aligned with the Curriculum for Supplementary Teaching Subjects in Primary and Secondary Schools for Children Abroad issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005, and with the Textbook for Supplementary Teaching for Children Abroad from Grades 1 to 4 of Primary School issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH in 2008.
To begin with, one of the most comprehensive subjects is available on the portal – Languages and Literature of the Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina from textbooks from I to IV grades of primary school, with a total of 184 lessons. The lessons consist of a combination of videos, animations, text and pictures/graphic examples, stories, short stories, as well as songs and sheet music. All three languages in use in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as both official letters, are used equally on the portal.
The portal for interactive (online) supplementary education is available at the web address: www.dopunskanastava.mcp.gov.ba.
Respectfully,
Ambassador
Valentina Marincic
