BH community in the UK in full momentum: Calendar of key events and initiatives

A meeting of the Executive Board of the Bosnia and Herzegovina UK Network was held last weekend, reviewing recent activities and adopting a calendar for the upcoming period.

We are entering a busy period leading up to the summer holidays, with a wide range of important events and activities that will further strengthen our community.

May – Delegation visit to Sarajevo
13 May – Srebrenica genocide commemoration at De Montfort University
17 May – Opening of the Ukrainian Library
20 May – Academic conference
24 May – Sports Day in Hertfordshire
30 May – White Armband Day in Coventry
31 May – National White Armband Day commemoration in Birmingham
Date to be confirmed – White Armband Day in South Ockendon/Grays, organised by BIHCAH Hertfordshire
Date to be confirmed – Refugee World Cup in Birmingham
12, 18 and 24 June – Organised screenings of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s World Cup matches
20 June – Bosnian Schools Day in Coventry
27 June – Peace March in Guildford
1 July – Srebrenica genocide commemoration in Birmingham
11 July – Srebrenica genocide commemoration in Derby

13 July, 5:00–7:30 pm – National Srebrenica genocide commemoration at Church House, London
