Ukrainian Christmas customs and making traditional amulets that protected the homes of our ancestors for centuries.
Yesterday we made a Christmas spider out of straw . For almost four hours, everyone was completely dedicated to the work, and the result was truly incredible! Fifteen Ukrainian families, thousands of kilometers away from their homeland, will decorate their homes with this special and symbolic amulet this year.
Many thanks to our master Lucy Sadova for the idea, preparation and realization of the workshop. It is a special joy to see happy parents and to feel peace knowing that our children are learning, cherishing and preserving their culture and traditions.
