In the UK they represent Bosnia and Herzegovina, and when they perform outside the UK they represent Birmingham.
The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Association Birmingham and the BH UK Network are proud of the many members of our community who enrich our work every day with their activism. In this way, they contribute to our recognition as one of the most organized communities in Birmingham – a city where more than 100 languages are spoken every day.
This time we would like to present the older group of the Fahira Hasedzic Cultural Center.
The girls have been proudly presenting the culture of our homeland for years. They choreograph their own performances. They have taken on the responsibility of teaching the youth of our cultural organization. Their performance at the recent cultural festival at the Midlands Arts Centre has already had close to 70,000 views. Our Association decided to organize an Iftar and they also used it to make an agreement to perform at a folklore festival organized by our compatriots living in Italy.
Fahira was really touched by this gesture, but due to health reasons she was unable to respond.
