In this way, the City of Sarajevo formally expressed its firm intention to strengthen ties with the BiH diaspora, which, as ambassadors of BiH around the world, plays an important role in promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital city as an investment and tourist destination. “I am proud that for the first time in the mandate of the current city administration, this decision has been officially made and supported by city councilors. We want to strengthen ties with our diaspora and establish the best possible cooperation and communication,” emphasized the Mayor of Sarajevo. Karić said that she has no doubt that this cooperation will produce visible results by organizing presentations of investment projects, conferences, fairs, festivals, as well as meetings of the BiH diaspora with businessmen, businesswomen, young people, artists and cultural workers from Sarajevo and BiH.The memorandum also envisages the presentation of the City’s projects to foreign investors with whom SSDBiH has contacts, and the organization of the event “Diaspora Days in Sarajevo/Bosnia and Herzegovina” with a specific theme.
