In a festive and moving atmosphere, the Bosnian House in Birmingham hosted an iftar – a communal evening gathering during Ramadan that brought together representatives of the Bosnian diaspora, local authorities and the wider community. The audience was also addressed by distinguished guests from political and social life: the Mayor of Solihull expressed her support for the Bosnian community and praised its contribution to local society, while Dr. Waqar Azmi OBE stressed the importance of preserving identity and interfaith dialogue.
