VIOLENT CONDEMNATIONS IN THE BRITISH PARLIAMENT: DODIK THREATS INTERNATIONAL PEACE!
Today, the British Parliament strongly condemned the secessionist activities of Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, for his actions that threaten the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stephen Doughty, the Foreign Secretary, stressed that these unconstitutional actions are dangerous, not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also for the people of Republika Srpska whom Dodik is allegedly protecting. Doughty stressed the UK’s commitment to the peace agreement and institutions that respect the powers of government, and warned of a series of unconstitutional laws and proposed new constitutions that violate the peace agreement. 
James MacCleary MP stated that the United Kingdom is working with allies and the European Union on these issues.
Labour MP Alex Sobel stressed that while the international community’s attention may seem to be elsewhere, the UK has not neglected the Balkans. Sobel recalled the UK’s long history in the region and highlighted the engagement of senior diplomats as special envoys and continued political communication.
The Bosnian-Herzegovinian diaspora continues its fight against secessionist activities, and the international community increasingly recognizes the seriousness of the situation and the need for decisive action to preserve peace and stability in the region.
