Guildford Peace March – Saturday 1.07.2023

Dear friends from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Great Britain

We would like to inform you that on Saturday, July 1st, starting at 1:00 PM, we plan to organize a Peace March in the city of Guildford, which would last about 90 minutes, and in this way we will pay tribute to the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica as well as other parts of our Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The starting location of the walk is Stoke Park by Spektrum Guildford, at 1pm address PARKWAY GUILDFORD GU1 1UP and the walk would end at Newlands Corner address DROVE ROAD, NEWLAND’S CORNER, ALBURY, GUILDFORD GU4 8SE.

  • At 1:00 PM – Departure in front of Spektrum Sports Center (Address: Parkway Guildford GU1 1UP)
  • 2.30pm – Arrival at Newlands Corner is around 2.30pm (address Drove Road, Newland’s Corner, Albury, Guildford GU4 8SE)

        • Mujo Delić – survivor of the genocide in Srebrenica
        • Ferid Kevrić – former JNA officer and witness to the start of the war in the area of ​​Bijeljina
        • Remzudin (Braco) Alihodžić – a child who survived the war in Podrinje at the age of 16
        • Sabit Jakupović – a man who survived two camps in the Prijedor municipality
        • Zaim Pašić – in front of Bosnia UK Network , as a soldier of the BiH Army wounded in Sarajevo
