[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Holocaust Remembrance Day and the Prevention of Crimes against Humanity is an international day of remembrance to remember all the victims of the Nazi regime during the Second World War. This day is celebrated all over Europe, and January 27 was chosen as the date of celebration. On that occasion, in the school premises of the Bosnian House in Birmingham, this year’s students, in the presence of their teachers, held a lecture on the most remembered historical genocide. The students also had the opportunity to watch a documentary about the victims of genocide.
The main message of marking this day to the little ones is how important it is to familiarize themselves with everything that happened during World War II. World War when it was enough for someone to be of the wrong religion, wrong nationality or different political opinion to end up liquidated. So that history is not forgotten and such tragedies are not repeated, it is important to pass on the memory of the victims to the younger generations.
