That Bosnians and Herzegovinians achieve enviable success all over the world is also an example of our Bišćan Almedina Grozdanić.
Almedina Grozdanić was born in Bihać on March 6, 1977, where she completed elementary school and high school in Bihać during the war. After the establishment of the University of Bihać, she enrolled in the Faculty of Pedagogy, Department of Mathematics and Physics. After earning the title of professor of mathematics and physics, she enrolled again in the Faculty of Pedagogy, Department of English Language and Literature, and earned the title of professor of English Language and Literature.
During her studies at the University of Bihać, she was awarded a State Department scholarship and spent one academic year at the University of Montana. She achieved her academic success while working for international organizations, writes USKinfo .
With the above-mentioned degrees she obtained at the University of Bihać, she got a job as a mathematics teacher in one of the high schools in the United Kingdom, and since 2006 she has been successfully building her career in education in the UK, where she currently holds the position of Director of the Mathematics Department at Leigh Academy. During her working career in the UK, she has continuously worked on her professional development, and as a result of her dedicated work and perseverance, she successfully completed her master’s degree at the prestigious University of Cambridge (Master of Education).
We are not sure if she is the first Bišće woman to receive a degree from this prestigious University, but she is certainly worth mentioning and congratulating. Our Bišće woman Almedina is another example that citizens of our country can succeed with initiative, dedicated work and effort.
