Bosna Bank International (BBI) continues to distribute scholarships from the “Sheikh Saleh Kamel” Fund. Children without one or both parents, primary and secondary school students and full-time university students, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from the territory of the southwestern BiH region, which includes the territories of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, West Herzegovina Canton and Canton 10, and the municipalities of: Trebinje, Ljubinje, Bileća, Berkovići, Nevesinje, East Mostar, Gacko, Kalinovik and Foča, are eligible to apply for the competition.
The amount of the monthly stipend, which is paid in 12 equal installments, is the equivalent of USD 100.00 and is paid in KM, and candidates interested in participating in the competition should submit the application within 30 days from the announcement of the competition in person by handing it over to the premises of the branch office of BBI Bank in Konjic, Mostar or Stolac.
Preference under the same conditions as other candidates is given to students and pupils from families of martyrs, i.e. fallen soldiers, or students/pupils whose families include members of the Armed Forces over 50%, civilian victims of war with a disability of over 70%, concentration camp inmates and demobilized soldiers.
It is planned to award 100 scholarships for the mentioned region, and the committee will consider all complete applications received by Friday, August 30, 2019.
