Dear Sir/Madam,
The GEOPA Association, in cooperation with the Association of Pensioners of the City of Zenica and the JOB Association of the City of Zenica, listening to the needs of civil society, in the time and space in which we live, conducted a series of public opinion surveys on various social and economic topics and came to devastating results in the number and quantity of socially vulnerable households (unemployed, disabled, sick and infirm with serious diagnoses, demobilized soldiers, pensioners and other socially vulnerable groups).
Bearing in mind the aforementioned findings, we, as an organization, have decided to take concrete steps to help the socially vulnerable population. In order for these steps to result in continuous assistance, we have designed a systematic solution to the aforementioned problems of all marginalized groups. This involves launching a social supermarket in which the vulnerable population, according to criteria established in advance by experts in this field, will purchase basic food supplies at significantly lower prices.
The realization of this idea will be carried out through the project “Social entrepreneurship – Do good, feel good” which will last 5 years.
To start the project we rely on collecting donations.
