International Day of Peace
As part of the ongoing ONLINE lecture series, to mark the International Day of Peace, De Montfort University Leicester invites you on September 21st at 12.30pm to a series of quick lectures with leading DMU scientists. The online lectures will look at how research can help communities cope with the COVID-19 crisis.
BH UK Network has had a successful collaboration with De Montfort University Leicester for many years and has carried out several successful research projects. We are currently collaborating on a project related to oral history methods with the aim of collecting survivor testimonies and developing an archive of testimonies.
September 21 marks the International Day of Peace and focusing on the impact of COVID-19 in this context, the event will feature talks by researchers in areas including social distancing practices, digital technology in prison and the digital divide. The discussion will feature: Mark Charlton, Dr Victoria Knight, James Tangen and Kim Sadique.
Kim Sadique is the East Midlands board chair of Remembering Srebrenica, which stands for the organization of activities that will mark the memory of Srebrenica.
