Announcement: KUD \”Mladost Bosne\” represents our homeland at the culture festival in Birmingham

Purbanat CIC, an arts organisation based in Midland, is organising an event called the ‘Birmingham Multicultural Festival’. To celebrate ‘International Mother Language Day’ and promote diversity, Purbanat has been organising this festival since 2016. The festival sees artists from different ethnic communities perform in front of a diverse audience to showcase their own culture.

This year, the focus is on young artists (up to 24 years old) from different ethnic communities to perform music, dance, poetry, and the like with the aim of presenting their own culture and history.

At the recommendation of the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom, HE Vanja Filipović, the invitation to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at this important festival was extended to the cultural and artistic society ‘Mladost Bosne’ from Birmingham, and it was gladly accepted.

We invite our citizens from the Midlands region and beyond to visit the festival and support the performance of our folk dancers.
