London: Old Bridge – a theatre play about Bosnia

Can the two lovers and the Old Bridge that connected them survive the violent siege?

A young couple meets by chance at the Old Bridge, the bridge that unites the multicultural city of Mostar. Just like Romeo and Juliet, they come from very different backgrounds, and although they are convinced of the power of their love, they must contend with the fast-paced events of an encroaching war. Connected by the historic Old Bridge, can their romance – and the bridge itself – survive the siege that has befallen them?

The Old Bridge is an epic love story that explores the impact of the war that Europe forgot, as well as the love and loss of those who survived it.
