Recently, the Bosnian School and Association in Manchester celebrated its 20th anniversary. The ceremony was met with positive comments, which motivated all the volunteers of this association even more to continue their successful work.
In this regard, we would like to inform you that the new school year begins on September 19th. Classes will be held online, via the Internet, every Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 and will be led by qualified teaching staff. The classes will include Bosnian and Herzegovinian language and literature, history, geography, art and culture, and religious education.

Also, a call is open for volunteers who would like to help in the work and implementation of the following activities/projects of the Bosnian School and the Manchester Association:
- Editing/montage of footage from the school anniversary ceremony and posting the footage on the school/association website.
- Organization of the celebration of BiH Statehood Day.
- Organization of the association’s participation within the event “Remembering Srebrenica/Sjećanje na Srebrenica”.
- Organization of the association’s participation in the MAC Fest (Muslim Art and Cultural Festival).
- Organization of participation in the “Achievement Days” event with Manchester City Council and other Bosnian supplementary schools
- Teaching the Quran.
- Any other activities which you could improve the work of the school/association.
