Birmingham Association: new laptops purchased for BH supplementary school

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian supplementary school Birmingham will begin Bosnian supplementary classes in the new year 2021.

In consultation with teachers, it has been decided that classes will continue to be held online until further notice due to the current situation with the coronavirus (Covid-19). In order to protect the health of children and prevent the spread of the infectious disease caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), students will follow classes exclusively electronically.

Although it is about online classes, the importance of maintaining such classes should be mentioned. However, this type of teaching can give the opportunity to create a positive, strong relationship between students and teachers. It may seem difficult at the beginning, but it is definitely worth trying for the benefit of the student’s relationship with the teachers and supplementary teaching in the BiH language.

We are pleased to announce that the BiH Association Birmingham has secured funds for the purchase of electronic equipment. The association board has provided 10 Chromebook laptops and made them available to students of the BiH Supplementary School Birmingham who are attending online classes.

After the pandemic and the return of students to school in the Bosnian House, laptops will be available on the premises of the Bosnian House.

We would like to thank BH UK Network for their help and wish students and teachers much success in the second semester, hoping to see you back at school soon.
