REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE IN TREATMENT
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you because I am in an increasingly difficult situation, my illness is progressing more and more and it is becoming more and more difficult for me to provide money for my therapies. In addition to the other medicines, as can be seen from the attachment, I need four boxes per month just for the medicine TRIXIN, which in monetary value is about 500 KM, sometimes more expensive, and sometimes a few brands less. The price depends on the pharmacy where I buy. I lived happily until this disease, was married and had two children. I got sick in 2013 when I was diagnosed with Lupus nephritis . Due to illness, my husband also left me two years later. The children stayed with my husband since I could not take care of them (I had no money because I did not work). Since then, my independent fight with the help of my friends with this dangerous disease begins. Only I know how I came to therapy, which I had to procure alone and with the help of friends. I was so sick, I did everything until my friends from the RVI Ilidža association hired me to this association a year and a half ago. I’m rarely at work since I’m more in hospitals and I’m always on sick leave. I receive a minimum wage of about 400 KM, that cannot be for the medicine trixin, and I live in private accommodation in Ilidža, Remze Ahmetovića Street 222. My rent is 200 KM.
That’s why I’m asking all the good people to whom this request of mine reaches, to help as much as they can. The kidneys also go away from this disease, so my creatinine was 149 on this discharge because my whole body accumulates water, which can be seen in the picture when I don’t have an attack and when the disease attacks me from head to toe, I am all swollen and full of water. I’m just afraid that I won’t end up on dialysis yet because a large number of patients with this disease have ended up on dialysis. That’s why I have to take expensive therapies regularly so that she doesn’t end up as a dialysis patient, God forbid.
