As part of the 23rd Meeting of Bosnian supplementary schools in Great Britain, the BiH community decided to surprise his Ambassador. Namely, that day was also Ambassador Filipović’s birthday. In the crowded hall and cheerful atmosphere of the Sidney Stringer Academy, those present wished the Ambassador a happy birthday and presented him with a birthday cake, accompanied by a song by Queen Elizabeth II’s envoy, Simon Topman MBE DL.
During his term as Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom, H.E. Vanja Filipović relatively quickly established close cooperation and communication with the Bosnian community on the Island.
If you ask him about the diaspora in Great Britain, he will always say that he is happy that the level of interest and connection between the diaspora and the homeland is at an exceptional level.
