BH UK Network organized a New Year’s Eve lunch and social gathering for its members at the Bosnian House who live in Birmingham. This time some of our dear members from the neighboring city of Coventry also joined.
We are proud of the fact that this kind of gathering has already become a tradition. The atmosphere was very nice and pleasant and everyone had the opportunity to enjoy delicious traditional dishes, music and socializing. They recalled their younger days, and especially various events after arriving in Great Britain.
The lunch was attended by members of our first generations who came from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 90s during the war and settled in the UK. Despite all the adversities and war experiences, the New Year is here to remind us that not everything is lost and that there is always a chance for a new beginning, that time is a gift that brings us hope that everything will be fine in the end.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came and enjoyed with us. We look forward to future meetings together, in the New Year, with even more friends.
