The Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Midlands, Dr. Anes Cerić , paid an introductory visit to Mihaela Savu , Consul General of Romania in Birmingham and President of the Birmingham Consular Association .
During the meeting, opportunities for stronger cooperation between the consulates and the various communities they represent were discussed, with a shared commitment to strengthening cultural and educational ties across the region.
The Birmingham Consular Association , founded in 1882, brings together consular representatives from countries around the world and is based in the Midlands. It plays an important role in promoting international cooperation, diplomacy and mutual support between consular missions.
Consul General Mihaela Savo warmly welcomed Dr. Cerić and expressed her support for the continued partnership and cooperation between the consular corps and the Bosnian community in the United Kingdom.
