Rome, May 6, 2021.
We have received official confirmation from Rome that Prof. Dr. Sanel Jakupović , Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Cooperation of the Pan-European University Apeiron, was elected as a member of the management of the Italian Confederation of European Professional and Business Associations ( Confederazione Associazioni Europee di Professionisti e Imprese – AEPI ) at the end of April 2021, with headquarters in Rome and a regional office in Brussels. Professor Jakupović will serve as the AEPI coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next four years as a foreign delegate.
The Confederation of European Professional and Business Associations (AEPI) is the largest Italian association that brings together employers and professional associations, numerous experts, managers and representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, with the aim of ensuring their adequate institutional and trade union representation in relation to global economic trends and the national economy. The strategic objective is to promote “Made in Italy” by improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises at the national level and throughout the EU and the world.
Professor Jakupović emphasized that his election as an AEPI delegate is the result of many years of international cooperation with representatives of the Italian academic and business community, which he achieved through projects of the Pan-European University Apeiron and Italian partners, and in this regard, he thanked Dr. Diego Moscheni, former Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Italy and current Vice President of AEPI for Northern Italy, for the opportunity to be elected as a foreign delegate – coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina of the AEPI Confederation at the electoral assembly in April 2021.
Dino Minoi , an expert in European planning, subsidized finance and territorial policies, has been elected president of the national AEPI Confederation, specializing in communication with public administration, where he spent most of his career, which began at the age of twenty in the municipal council of the city of Manduria in the province of Taranto. Elected in 2013 to the city council of the capital of Rome. He was president of the special commission of the capital of Rome for community policies – community affairs, structural funds and community initiatives and relations with the European Commission, member of the commission for social policies, public works and culture of Rome, director of Zétema Progetto Cultura. Former regional president of Puglia and member of the national council of the Association of Wine Cities.
