Each year, Srebrenica Remembrance chooses a theme that maintains the genocide aspect, while also being relevant to communities in the UK. The theme for 2022 was Fighting Denial: Confronting Hate . More than 1,000 commemorations were organised around this theme during Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Week.

Finally, we would like to thank the Bosnian community in the UK for supporting all these activities. What makes us particularly happy is the fact that an increasing number of young people, second and third generation survivors of the genocide, are actively participating in organizing commemorations, which is a guarantee that the genocide in Srebrenica will not be forgotten.
