Dear friends, we are pleased to announce that we have purchased the building that will be our new home.
It is a former police station which was also the police museum for the West Midlands region. Due to its historical significance, the building is under state protection. The facility was built in 1895 and has over 1,000 square meters of space, its own parking lot and outdoor play area.
The Victorian splendor of the former police station and museum has been a city landmark for over 125 years. It is located near the centre of Birmingham, on Stratford Road, one of the oldest and longest streets connecting Birmingham, the second largest city in the UK, and Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford Upon Avon.
This multi-million pound project is truly a historic achievement for the Bosnian community in the UK and is the result of teamwork. A big thank you to everyone for their tremendous contribution!
Now is the time to adapt the space and create new memories.
We congratulate our community and wish them luck in their new premises.
Well done, well done, well done!
