BH UK Network recently co-organised the Parliamentary Celebration of BiH Independence Day. The ceremony was held in Westminster and was attended by a large number of British parliamentarians.
We took this opportunity to have a conversation with MP Fleur Anderson in order to be the new patron of our organization. Fleur gave full support to the activities of BH UK Network and accepted our offer with pleasure. She proudly announced this information on her Twitter profile, where she posted photos and wrote: “I have the privilege of being a patron of BH UK Network”.
Fleur visited our homeland on several occasions during and after the war. She is a member of the Labour Party and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We would like to remind you that in addition to Fleur Anderson, the patrons of the BH UK Network for many years have been Jennifer Stone-Wigg MBE, Dr. Waqar Azmi OBE, Alicia Kearns MP and Robert McNeil MBE.
