The Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received information from the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs of Republika Srpska (RUGIP) that the procedure for public access to real estate data and determination of rights to real estate has begun in that entity, for the purpose of establishing a real estate cadastre as a single record of real estate.
The purpose of this procedure is to harmonize the data in the land registers with the actual situation on the ground, and in this sense it is necessary to inform as many BiH citizens as possible to actively participate in these activities in the municipalities where they own real estate.
Public exhibition announcements for individual cadastral municipalities are published 30 days before the exhibition on the website: http://rgurs.org/lat/oglasi-o-pojedinacnom-izlaganju
RUGIP also carries out individual presentations at the request of the parties for individual cadastral parcels (in
(in this case, the party bears the costs of the procedure). In the event that the specific property owner is not available, a temporary representative is appointed and the procedure is thus concluded.
After the public presentation, it is not possible to submit individual requests – ownership rights can be claimed through the court. RUGIP submitted this information to the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH in order to make it available to a larger number of refugees in BiH and abroad, as they noticed that citizens were missing the opportunity to attend public presentations.
