I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to attend the online celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized by the BH UK Network.
I am very happy and proud that we managed to celebrate this significant historical holiday with our joint efforts, and that the pandemic did not prevent us from doing so.
I am glad that, together with my students and their parents, I made at least a small contribution in honor of commemorating our dear homeland BiH.
This video remains for all time as archival material for our future generations, who will be able to continue what we started more than two decades ago.
As an educator, I want to praise all our students, their parents and teachers who prepared this festive program.
Children have always been our great driving force and will remain so.
Watching and listening to these children of ours who read our poetry, sing songs in our language and play our cars makes me very proud. They did not forget their language, their origin, their culture…
With this, we have shown that a lot can be done for Bosnia and Herzegovina, even when you are physically so far from it.
It is important that the homeland lives in our hearts, that we are warmed by that love, that we proudly represent it in any country on this planet.
We have managed to maintain the continuous operation of our supplementary schools in the UK for over two and a half decades.
Finally, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to all employees of the BH UK Network for the realization of this project, and a big thank you to all distinguished guests, and especially to all our BH associations and supplementary schools that took part.
And especially a big thank you to our children, on whom the world rests. This is how our one and only BiH is loved.
