Dear friends of Bosnian House,
We would like to inform you that we have secured funds for a significant renovation and expansion of the Bosnia House space, with a special emphasis on improving accessibility for people with disabilities.
Planned and initiated works include:
• a complete renovation of the existing kitchen, which will serve Eveson Hall
• construction of a new dining area, which will also be used as a space for training and education
• conversion of two former police cells into modern training rooms
• construction of four additional toilets
• adapting the premises of the Bosnian House to be fully accessible and functional for people with disabilities, including users of all programs and activities
The work began last week, and we expect it to be completed early next year.
