White Armband Day was marked in London today in memory of the crimes committed in Prijedor, especially on May 31, 1992, when non-Serb citizens were forced to mark their houses with white sheets and wear white armbands themselves – a prelude to mass arrests, camps and murders. 501753395 1041245588104841 274879313689962564 N
The commemoration was addressed by the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Kingdom, Osman Topčagić, Dr. Waqar Azmi from the organization Remembering Srebrenica, and the Chief Imam of the Bosniak Community in Great Britain, Sedin ef. Šahman. 501339370 1041249608104439 4096543638447754381 N
