“We are Bosnia outside Bosnia” were the happy words heard in the congratulatory message to our beautiful homeland, the most beautiful country in the world, on the occasion of March 1, the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in London. Organized by the BH UK Network, BH supplementary schools from Birmingham, Coventry, Hertfordshire, and London took part in marking this event.
“We are those who love it with all our hearts, in our hearts there is only love for our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina. We want to spread our tradition and culture throughout the country of England, throughout the world so that everyone can hear our anthem, Bosnian sevdalinka, children’s songs and poetry, to dance our kolo and see traditional folk costumes.”
All this was heard in the program, which was proudly performed in the presence of a large number of guests. We are very happy that our Embassy allowed us to be our own on this day, for our children who were born in England to show how much they know, how much they appreciate and respect their beautiful country of origin, small in size, but the biggest in our hearts. It was beautiful, everyone was happy and satisfied, especially the children and teachers who did their best to brighten up this beautiful day. Many thanks to the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the BH UK Network who organized this celebration for all those who wanted to attend. Well done to all participants, this is the most beautiful congratulations to our dear homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina.
