A growing number of young Bosnians and Herzegovinans attend sports gatherings in the UK

Another beautiful sports gathering was held in Great Britain, organized by the Hertfordshire BiH Association and sponsored by the BH UK Network, with the attendance of more than 200 of our citizens.

The competitive part of the program featured 9 senior indoor soccer teams from London, Hertfordshire, Coventry, Birmingham and Derby. This time, the junior teams did not perform because most of the children attend Bosnian supplementary schools and this weekend they had dress rehearsals before performing at the 24th meeting of Bosnian and Herzegovina supplementary schools in Great Britain. which takes place next weekend in Birmingham.

The most beautiful football and the first place was won by the Brđana team, which defeated the BHFananaticos team in the final after a penalty shootout. Third place was won by the Birmingham team, while the Coventry team took fourth place.

After the sports activities, the unforgettable sports gathering continued with the performance of our irreplaceable musician Sefer Haskić.

We are pleased that an increasing number of young Bosnians and Herzegovinans are attending sports gatherings. This shows that, even if they were born in Great Britain, they do not forget their roots. We are planning the next sports gathering after the holidays. The location has not yet been determined, but we would like it to be held in the north of England.
