Today we marked Holocaust Remembrance Day, gathering to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia.
We lit candles in honor of those whose lives were lost and reaffirmed our commitment to fighting hatred and discrimination and working towards a brighter and more compassionate future.
This year’s theme “For a Better Future” invites us to imagine a future where such crimes will never happen again. Through moving stories, powerful testimonies and artistic expressions, we explored the importance of memory and the role each of us plays in fostering a more inclusive society.
