Bosnian citizens from the Bosnian community in Hertfordshire/London gathered to celebrate the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Activists of all generations united to welcome their guests with dignity and officially celebrate the birthday of their homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The event was graced by the presence and address of Ambassador Vanja Filipović, who took this opportunity to thank on the work and effort of volunteers and teachers and the support of the wider community in maintaining the identity, culture and tradition of the people and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this part of Great Britain. Also present was Ms. Jasmina Sarajlić, Minister Advisor to the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the United Kingdom.
The decoration of the gathering was our youth, dressed in traditional costumes, who welcomed the guests with their smiles and Bosnian coffee. Those present were treated to delicious food decorated with the Bosnian flag and Bosnian symbols.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers once again for their great help and support.
