On the occasion of March 8th, a holiday when ladies are in the spotlight, last night, International Women’s Day was celebrated in the beautiful setting of the Mughel-E-Azam restaurant in Birmingham, organized by BH UK Network.
With an appropriate dinner, ladies from Birmingham, London and Coventry gathered to celebrate this day in a cheerful mood with their loved ones. More than 50 women attended the celebration.
The already well-known artist Hadžović Zamir ensured a great atmosphere and an unforgettable night, entertaining the ladies with his musical performances until late into the night.
Although many today view Women’s Day as a commercialized holiday, it actually represents the historical struggle that women had to wage in order to enjoy equal rights with men. They received the right to vote, the right to education, the right to choose motherhood, the right to perform all functions in society and all fundamental rights guaranteed by laws.
BH UK Network congratulates all members of the fairer sex on March 8th, International Women’s Day, with the wish that they will be happier and more successful in the future.
