Dear voters outside Bosnia and Herzegovina,
On May 7, 2020, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Decision on the Call for Local Elections 2020 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on May 23, 2020, it adopted the Decision on the Postponement of the Local Elections 2020. The postponed elections will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
If you want to exercise your right to vote and vote in the upcoming Local Elections, you are required to submit an application to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina no later than September 1, 2020 at 12:00 p.m.
Until now, the Central Election Commission of BiH has been delivering the PRP-2 application form to the address you provided during your last registration to vote. The PRP-2 application form is available on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH www.izbori.ba .
All voters who voted in the previous General Elections in 2018, fill out the PRP-2 application form and submit it to the Central Election Commission of BiH, attaching a copy of one of the valid identification documents with a photo. You can download the form here – PRP-2.
All voters who did not vote in the last General Election of 2018 or are applying for the first time, fill out and sign the PRP-1 form and submit it to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with relevant attachments. You can download the specified form here – PRP-1 .
If you are temporarily residing outside of BiH, in order to register to vote outside of BiH, you need to have a valid BiH identification document (you submit a copy of one of three valid documents – an ID card or driver’s license or BiH passport).
If you have the status of a refugee and do not have valid BiH documents (identity card or driver’s license), the documents you need to submit with the application form are:
- document proving BiH citizenship (certificate of BiH citizenship, not older than 6 months or a copy of a valid BiH passport)
- a document proving identity with a photograph (a copy of valid documents issued by the host country or a copy of a refugee card issued by the host country government or other international organization)
- Proof of residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina (a copy of the certificate of residence or a copy of the identity card in its entirety from 1991)

You can submit the completed form, signed in the same way as on a valid identification document, and the attached scanned documents as follows:
