Last weekend, members of the Hertfordshire BiH Association visited the Bosnian House premises and also held a meeting with the management of the BH UK Network. BiH citizens working and living in Hertfordshire are a group of brilliant, ambitious and hardworking people who have been trying to bring their homeland closer to their children for almost three decades.

On this occasion, the development of the Hertfordshire Bosnian Association was discussed, the commemoration of White Armband Day and the 30th anniversary of the arrival of concentration camp prisoners in Hertfordshire, and many other topics.

One of the current topics discussed was the submission of voting applications. voters in the UK for the upcoming General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One thing is certain. Apart from the natural resources of the homeland, the greatest potential currently lies in the people living outside it. In addition to the economic, the political strength of the Bosnian diaspora could be decisive in changing the overall political landscape in BiH.

BH UK Network together with its members, including the BiH Hertfordshire Association, will, with the assistance of H.E. Vanja Filipović, Ambassador of BiH to the UK, hold rallies across Great Britain where BiH citizens will be able to learn about the method of electronic registration and thus play a significant role in the upcoming elections.
