On the occasion of the World Day of Peace, September 21st, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina launched the first coordinated public diplomacy campaign entitled “12 Days of Peace”, with the aim of positioning our country as a country of peace, freedom and coexistence, where artists, children and young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina will, through their participation, help the campaign and contribute to the promotion of our country, and the promotion of the idea of peace as a universal value of all countries in the world.
In parallel with the activities in the country, it is planned that, organized by BH diplomatic and consular missions around the world, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presented to the international public as a peaceful and safe place and a country where everyone is welcome. At the same time, the representatives will thank the citizens and governments of the countries that have invested in the reconstruction, recovery and development of BiH all these years.
The Embassy of BiH in London, in cooperation with the local community and organizations, artists, BiH diaspora organizations in the UK and BiH supplementary schools in the UK, has also prepared several events on this occasion, and all interested BiH citizens in the UK can still get involved in their implementation.
We are happy and proud that this campaign was launched and that we can make our contribution, promoting universal values and our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BH diaspora in the UK, as well as good contacts and cooperation with the local community and the host country – the United Kingdom.
