Sanela Saracevic Hujić, as a representative of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Association Coventry, had the honour of being part of the Holocaust Memorial Day which was held today at Lauderdale House, London, in the presence of His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester. The event was also attended by Sabit Jakupović and Safet Vukalić, long-time activists of the Bosnian community on the Island.
This is just one of the many ceremonies being organized this weekend in Great Britain on the occasion of the coronation of His Majesty King Charles |||. After the ceremony, the attendees shared various life stories of how they survived great suffering and how they managed to rebuild their lives in Great Britain. The centerpiece of the Coronation Tea Party was an incredible commemorative fruit sculpture designed by Var Ashe Houston BEM, a survivor of the Cambodian genocide.
