The General Assembly of BH UK Network, held in the premises of the Bosnian House, was an opportunity to remember our dear late Idriz Saltagić. Those present paid their respects to poets from Vrbas and Thames with sadness and a minute of silence. Everyone knew him as a good man who was happy to give his time, attention and love.
He left us after a long and serious illness, but he left an indelible mark not only on society, but on the BH UK Network, and beyond. He gladly attended all of our events, cultural and artistic evenings, and school gatherings.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Idriz’s family who lovingly donated his personal collection of books and significant works. It is safe to say that his home library, rich in titles that positively influenced his life and career, will find its way to readers and adorn the shelves of the library of the umbrella organization of Bosnian and Herzegovinian associations in the United Kingdom.
