Sponsorship of the second international congress and founding assembly of the Union of Humanitarian Associations and Organizations of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Humanitarian Association “Istina” and “Radio BH Diaspora” are organizing the International Congress of Humanitarian Associations and Organizations for the SECOND time. This time, the founding assembly. The first congress was held in November 2018 in Sarajevo in cooperation with the Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD), and the second will be held on December 13 and 14, 2019 in Mostar in cooperation with the NGO “Together for Our City” Mostar.

The first congress was attended by representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, America, Australia, Germany and England. This time, more associations are expected to attend, both from Bosnia and Herzegovina and from the Diaspora. That is why they need financial assistance.

The goal of this Congress is to unite all HOs from BiH and the Diaspora in order to work better, more efficiently and more transparently. Also, to avoid fraud and providing assistance to the same people by multiple HOs. They want to create a social map of the Municipality/Municipality as well as the state itself. Therefore, at this Congress, they are organizing a founding assembly when the presidency and the board of directors will also be elected. The goal of all this is to organize a joint association called “HO Alliance”.

The First Congress was attended by 150 people (Congress participants and special guests), this time around 250 participants are expected. The Humanitarian Association “Istina” and “Radio BH Diaspora” hope that people will recognize the value of this International Congress and that they will help with the organization with their sponsorship, if possible.
