BH UK Network, in collaboration with the Municipality of Birmingham, organized a celebration on the occasion of Vyšivanka Day, attended by a large number of Ukrainian refugees and families who have been helping them since their arrival in the UK.
Vyshyvanka Day is an international holiday that aims to preserve the Ukrainian folk tradition of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered clothing called vyshyvankas. Vyshyvankas are one of the most famous symbols of Ukrainian culture. Every third Thursday in May, Ukrainians and their friends around the world dress in traditionally embroidered clothing to celebrate Vyshyvanka Day.
